Kamailio Knowledge Base

Due to trademark issue, OpenSER (http://www.openser-project.org) was renamed to Kamailio (http://www.kamailio.org) in July 2008. Initially, OpenSER started in June 2005 as a fork of SIP Express Router (SER).

In November 2008, Kamailio and SER re-started the development collaboration. Kamailio 3.0.0 is the first release that allow administrators to combine modules from Kamailio and SER in same configuration file.
