 FreeSWITCH is an open source multi-protocol IP softswitch. Having support for SIP, FreeSWICH completes the architecture of VoIP platforms using Kamailio, with features related to media handling (IVR, conferencing, voicemail, a.s.o.). Another typical usage is Kamailio in front of FreeSWITCH farm, to perform load balancing, failure routing and high availability.
